Program Overview

  • This is a competitive program. Among the items to be considered for acceptance into this program are: •Undergraduate transcripts (a combination of GPA and rigor of coursework will be considered) •Recommendations •Interview •Applicant statement of interests and goals The minimum course requirements for entry into the program are: •One year of undergraduate biology •One year of undergraduate chemistry The following are also desired but not required: •One semester or more of undergraduate calculus •One or two semesters of undergraduate physics •Additional undergraduate coursework in biology, chemistry or biochemistry •Prior research experience https://www.msm.edu/Education/PipelinePrograms/SickleCell.php
