Registration Deadline: 12/30/2000
The Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering (IME) and High Performance Materials Institute (HPMI) at FAMU-FSU College of Engineering is offering our Middle and High school Educators an opportunity to learn more about cutting edge Additive Manufacturing technology and bring it into their classrooms. Up to four STEM teachers will be selected to participate in research at HPMI.
Participants will gain experience in 3D printer assembly, 3D model building and conducting research with their own build 3D printers. Participants will have special seminars for more additive manufacturing technologies. As well as the joint program with current undergraduate researchers will provide the teachers first-hand response to their future classroom experience.
The program includes follow up support through out the academic year. The program is for US citizens only and teachers must participate for the entire period of the program.
