Program Overview

Savannah State will offer an intensive summer bridge program to admitted incoming, first-time freshmen and a summer enhancement program for continuing students, who have not yet met core requirements in specific courses. These programs are designed to increase and support participating students’ progression to degree completion. Benefits

The Summer Bridge (SB) program is for first-time freshmen entering SSU in fall. •Open to incoming freshmen •Take six credit hours •Housing options available Admission to Summer Bridge requires: •Completion of a 2018-2019 FAFSA •Attendance at the orientation June 28, 2019 Program requirements include: •Completion of both courses, with an earned grade of “C” or better •Participation in any related activities or tutoring •Meetings with their assigned academic advisor
